Sublimation takes the image into the coated surface instead of leaving it on top, so the picture looks smooth and becomes part of the glass.
Print the photo as a mirror image on sublimation paper and press it onto the coated face. Glass holds heat for a while, so let each piece cool on a heat-safe surface before you handle it, and test one piece before starting a batch.
