Sublimation Mug

About this mug

The plain white body keeps colours bright and faces true, which is why it is the everyday mug for many print shops. This option suits small businesses that print to order, because it comes in a manageable pack instead of a very large wholesale lot.

Sublimation bonds the design with the coating on the mug instead of leaving it on the surface, so photos and logos look smooth and full of colour. A mug is also used every day, which keeps a memory or a brand in view.

Good for

• Small print shops
• Photo gift orders
• Home-based printing businesses

Printing it

Print the design as a mirror image on sublimation paper, wrap it around the mug, secure it with heat-resistant tape and press it in a mug heat press. Let the mug cool before handling it. Run a test piece first, since the right time and temperature depend on your machine, paper and ink.
